Biography

Prof Jace Pillay completed his PhD at the age of 31years from the Rand Afrikaans University, South Africa. He is the South African Research Chair in Education and Care in Childhood in the Faculty of Education at the University of Johannesburg. He has published numerous papers in reputed journals, presented research findings in several international conferences, and has been serving as an editorial board member of reputable international journals

Research Interest

Besides Community Psychology,his teaching & Research interests include, Cross-cultural counselling, Life orientation & School counselling, Ecology of practice of life orientation teachers and school counsellors, Children’s Rights, Childhood Education, Community educational psychology, Diversity Issues in teaching and learning, Anti-bias education and practices (racism, integration in schools).
